```html Justice Scholars Education Initiative (JSEI)
Education access is expanding. Post-release stability supports haven’t kept pace.We bridge that gap with practical navigation, barrier removal, and coordinated reentry-to-campus support.
Supporting Scholars Through Every Transition.
JSEI helps justice-impacted Californians stay housed, stay enrolled, and move toward careers—through education navigation, housing stability support, and coordinated reentry-to-campus pathways.
California-based 501(c)(3) EIN: 87-2070894
Built to complement campus-based justice programs across transfer, stop-out, re-enrollment, and relocation.
Mission
JSEI’s mission is to advance educational and economic mobility for formerly incarcerated and justice-impacted people by expanding access to higher education, housing stability supports, and workforce pathways—especially for women and transitional-aged youth (18–24).
Services
Education Navigation
Admissions, transfer planning, enrollment steps, financial aid, scheduling, and persistence coaching.
Housing Stability
Resource navigation, crisis prevention, and education-linked stability planning so school doesn’t collapse under rent pressure.
Workforce Pathways
Resume and interview prep, career mapping, and connections to paid opportunities aligned with goals and credentials.
Reentry Coordination
Warm handoffs to campuses and community partners, plus accountability loops so support doesn’t disappear mid-semester.
Partner
We partner with colleges, employers, housing providers, and philanthropy to create real continuity from incarceration → campus → career. If your organization can offer placements, referrals, housing resources, or paid opportunities, we’ll build a simple pathway and accountability loop.
